Final Work
All of my work is finalized. I greatly enjoyed working on this project and feel that this has given me a new direction in my life. I hope to see doors open in my future with regards to the information I was able to obtain. I also hope that others will find it useful in their own lives. Thanks Prof Greulich for all of your help! It was a great semester!

Lit Review
I'm almost finished with my literature review!...thank goodness. I'll be posting a link on the "Literature Review" tab by tomorrow. Hopefully I will be able to move much faster through my research paper, as I have found writing a lit review to be quite challenging. I just have a few citations to finish up first. Also, I will be updating my resource list complete with annotations. I had found a few things I needed more research on, and a few that I don't actually need or use for my purposes. Hope everyone has had a great weekend so far and is enjoying the information I have found. GO TIGERS!

Review of Material
I finally sat down to fully review the extent to which the material I had gained would support my thesis. I feel that the material is quite sufficient to this point. However, I'm slightly dissatisfied with my findings. Not one of my resources directly supports my hypothesis that meditation could benefit children with ADHD. There are ques that there are benefits for some of the symptoms. But it appears that, like most things with science, without a cause, there can be no cure. Unfortunately, ADHD has not been linked to any cause to date. Keep an eye on my lit review for more information!

Progression
I've recently updated a few of my pages. Please check them out and feel free to make any comments on the related material....keep it friendly as this is a research blog. I'm currently working on my lit review and should have it posted soon! Happy Saturday everyone!

Abstract
Stress and anxiety rid the lives of the majority of Americans. Unfortunately, it appears to be affecting the lives of our children as well. Bullies and intolerant children with an inability to focus are being sedated with amphetamines and diagnosed with various behavioral disorders. Suicide rates are climbing and the amount of violence in schools is alarming. Could the answer to all of this chaos be as simple as meditation? What would the outcome be if every child was given the opportunity to learn the skill of focusing their energy and controlling their emotions at a young age rather than as an adult? The opportunities seem endless. Since we are raising our future, what sort of change could this exactly bring about? The intent of my research is to discover more about meditation, specifically its history, benefits, applications, and how meditation complements early childhood education and its effects on children with ADHD.
